हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! चार प्रकार के पवित्र लोग मेरी भक्ति में लीन रहते हैं: आर्त अर्थात् पीड़ित, ज्ञान की जिज्ञासा रखने वाले जिज्ञासु, संसार के स्वामित्व की अभिलाषा रखने वाले अर्थार्थी और जो परमज्ञान में स्थित ज्ञानी हैं।
English Translation
O best amongst the Bharatas, four kinds of pious people engage in My devotion—the distressed, the seekers of knowledge, the seekers of worldly possessions, and those who are situated in knowledge.
