देहधारी जीव, जो अपने शरीर का स्वामी होता है, वह न तो किसी कर्म का कारक होता है, ना ही दूसरों को कर्म करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है, और न ही कर्मों का फल उत्पन्न करता है। यह सब तो प्रकृति के गुणों से ही संभव होता है ।
English Translation
The embodied living being, who is the master of this body, is neither the instigator of actions, nor causes others to act, nor does he create results of actions. The qualities of material nature (gunas) alone are responsible for these.
